Our in-house drawing office operates with the latest version of Tekla, providing detailed 3D drawings and models in formats such as IFC, DWG, PDF, and fully maniputable 3D PDF files for use with Adobe Reader.

Advanced Design Capabilities

• Connection Design: Using the Masterseries steel-to-steel connection design package, we can adhere to either BS 5950-1 or Eurocode 3. We can also perform traditional connection design with qualified engineers.
• Structural Design & Calculations: Through trusted external engineers, we offer design services for structural elements and steel-to-concrete connections, ensuring robust and compliant solutions.
• Point Cloud Surveys: With our own Trimble 3D point cloud scanner, we can take over 50 million points in any room with a click of a button. This ensures clear and detailed information is relayed to our drawing office.

Using Tekla, we electronically order our materials using NC files, allowing us to procure pre-cut and pre-drilled steel shafts and fittings. This process accelerates our production timelines and ensures full UKCA compliant traceability of every component.
We work to Level 2 BIM standards, characterised by collaborative workflows where design information is shared across teams using common file formats like IFC and COBie. This ensures seamless integration of data, enabling the creation of BIM models and effective coordination among project stakeholders.
Level 2 BIM has been the UK government’s standard for public sector projects since 2016, and we’re fully equipped to meet these requirements.
